CU ~ Wallflower

I planted a handful of Wallflowers from seed two autumn's ago. Last year I got green stalks, this year I have the most beautiful smelling flowers, and so pretty too.

I haven't been gardening for long, and I usually plant things like potatoes and onions, but this is one flower I will definetly be planting again. I've got purple, yellow and orange, and would like to share the purple one with you (it was the easiest to extract as the other wallflowers are all bunched together).

CU ~ Bridge

I took a photo of this bridge while we were out for a walk with the boys at the local park. It was in the heart of the forest area, over a stream and I couldn't resist snapping a picture of it;

Castle Collection ~ Texture Pack #2

Here is the second pack of textures from our day out to Stirling Castle. I'm going to have a look through my photos next and see if there is anything half decent I can extract for you, or I may put up some of the more picturesque photos as stock photos, just in case they are of any use to anyone.

Castle Collection ~ Texture Pack #1

Seeing as I live in Scotland, and there's castles and the like dotted all over the place, I thought I should share some of the great textures with you.

The photos included in this pack are from a variety of walls, courtesy of Stirling Castle, which is about an hour down the road from where we live, and so full of history, (It was where William Wallace fought the battle of Stirling Bridge in 1297, and Robert the Bruce fought at Bannockburn in 1314).

We had a great day out, the sun was shining, and I got some great photos, mostly of my two handsome boys though, and at the end of the day we hit the gift shop; I went in with two school boys, and came out with two sword welding cavaliars...

Owl extraction

We're actually getting some nice weather here in Scotland, so we took advantage of it and had a day trip out to a local country park. The boys had a great day walking up the hills, going into the forest and climbing around the adventure park.

While we were there, they got to pet a tame owl, and absolutely loved it, and of course I took a picture, which I have now extracted and have ready to share with you;

Woodland Foliage #1

I have a few pictures of plants I have taken on our last couple of trips with the boys into the woods. I really enjoy extracting these pictures, so I have a new commercial use freebie to share with you.

I think I caught this one in a good light, and it was easier to extract than I though it would be, a lot of the background came away with the magic wand, so it was just a case of tidying it up a little;

CU Wishing Well

I treated myself to a wishing well planter, and thought I would take a photo, extract it and share it with you. It looks great in my garden, and I thought it would make a great element in a kit, especially with how some designers can change a bland element into something amazing.

I've planted a lot of trailing flowers in it, so I'll get another extraction done later on in the year.

For now, you can download the file here

(and it's freebie friendly for those of you just starting out, and the more experienced)
