Summer is struggling to make an appearance in Scotland, we've had the odd day of sunshine here and there, but it's more often rain than sun.
Anyway, today I have a png horse shape for you. I'm currently trying to work out how to get it into an actual shape/brush on photoshop, and when I do, I'll get the rest set up for a download.
I decided to make this CU4CU, so you can use it in your own commercial use products.
Also, my standard of work should be improving as I was until recently involved in a design contest and have to say that anything you've downloaded from me before now should be consigned to the recycling bin - I've learned a lot about how to avoid jaggies, and the standards expected in a store, so you should see an improvement from here on in, and when I get a chance, I'll go back and fix everything I've offered previously.
So here is the horse anyway (I cut the shape using the pen tool, so hopefully it's sharp at 100%);

I've been playing around with the custom tool, with shapes and merging papers together.
Here's one i made merging some papers with all the different layers (I quite like the way the little boots all blended in together. I had to make the face and nose a separate layer as I thought it would be easier for merging/recolouring.
Anyway, I'm quite proud of my first attempt at a layered template, (and I'm starting a design class over at Hummie's world next month so things can only get better).
Click here to download the PSD template and PNG's, and as always, any problems with it, let me know, and thank you for all your comments, I love reading them.

I used some of the paper from this grab bag (with the designers permission) to make the freebie, but can't say anymore than that as the contents are hush hush at the time of writing.
The shape I salvaged from some rubbish I was getting shot of from my boys room, and I now have a big stack of 'junk' that I intend to turn into Commercial Use freebies but it'll take some time, I'm off of holiday next week (meaning lots of seaside elements are on the way :)), and I'm in the middle of writing a 1500 word essay for my latest Open University course, and it is a struggle, I keep scrapping!
Anyway, if you're a designer, click the image above to check out the grab bag, it's a good buy, with some great products inside (some of which you can see peeking out the top).
And finally, my latest CU offering (if it's popular I have some other construction shapes I can make up but I really must get my essay done. It's due in tuesday.);
